 
                    General scope of the position:
The Admin, Finance, and HR Assistant will support the efficient and compliant of administrative, financial, and human resources operations within the CDE iraq mission. The role ensures that all processes are in line with the organization’s internal procedures and donor regulations, while contributing to smooth daily operations and a positive working environment.
Contract starting 01 Jan 2026
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Accountancy & Treasury
- Preparing the payments and verifying the completeness and eligibility of supporting documents.
- Record accounting entries in bank and cash journals, ensuring accurate budget coding under the supervision of the Admin/Finance/HR Manager, Support the monthly financial closure process in line with CDE procedures.
- Maintain accurate (hard and soft) filing of all financial documents while ensuring confidentiality.
- Liaise with banks, vendors, and service providers when required.
- Manage office daily cashboxes responsibly and ensure cash handling follows CDE financial policies.
- Human Resources and Administrative follow-up:
- Assist in maintaining and updating personnel files, leave records, and timesheets.
- Assist in follow-up the compliance with local authorities with the assistance of CDE’s lawyers and Liaison Officers (Taxes payment, Social Security payment and the updated of CDE’s own Dossier at the said stakeholders, official letters, CDE’s Admin Order, Asayish, DNGOs, DOH).
- Assist in the submission of CDE’s Annual Reports to KRG and GOI Authorities under the supervision of Fin HR Admin Manager.
- Partnership and networking
- Assist in Developing and maintaining good relationships with other relevant field stakeholders / suppliers.
- Others
- Supports in the preparation for any audit missions into CDE Iraq as regards support division aspects.
- Responsible for timely and adequate archiving and institutional knowledge as regards the tasks managed.
- Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the line manager.
Qualifications:
Education:
An academic degree in Business administration, Human resources management, or equivalent field is required.
Work experience:
1-3 years’ work experience with an international NGO in Iraq in a similar position is required.
Knowledge about Iraq and KRI context-particularly is required.
Languages:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
Arabic and Kurdish is preferable.
Personal qualities:
Organizational and communication skills with attention to detail;
Adherence to humanitarian principle and CDE’s code of ethics;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
Patience, flexibility and capacity of adaptation;
Good interpersonal skills.
Knowledge :
Knowledge of the labor law in KRI and Federal Iraq;
Knowledge of the various local authorities;
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Package.
