The Mediation and Conflict Resolution Specialist will provide technical leadership for mediation, dialogue, and conflict resolution activities under the project. The role will ensure that all interventions are conflict-sensitive, inclusive, and gender-responsive, with meaningful participation of youth and women peace groups alongside Local Peace Committees (LPCs).
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and implementation of mediation and conflict resolution activities.
- Develop training curricula, methodologies, and tools related to dialogue, mediation, and local conflict prevention.
- Support capacity building for LPCs, youth and women groups, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure LPC initiatives are conflict-sensitive and inclusive of women and youth.
- Strengthen coordination between local peace structures and relevant national or sub-national mechanisms.
- Provide technical guidance, conflict analysis, and support project reporting and documentation.
