Description

 responsibilities:

 

  • Ensures the operational aspects of the project are properly implemented and in adherence to QRCS policies, procedures, and guidelines,
  • Ensure all FSL interventions and activities are completed on time and achieve its objectives,
  • Ensures the quality of donor reports for the project and that they are prepared in a timely manner,
  • Produce progress reports on food security and livelihoods activities, highlighting the outcomes of the activities,
  • Conducting baseline and end-line surveys,
  • Provide supervision, support, and guidance to project staff,
  • Provide leadership to project staff in implementing the assigned activities,

 

  • Ensure all project resources are being used efficiently and effectively to meet the project’s goal,
  • Develop and maintain an effective work plan, and lessons learned systems,
  • Collaborate with partners, relevant working groups and clusters, relevant local authorities, and other key stakeholder,
  • Report on any problems or challenges to the line manager promptly encountered in the field,
  • Conduct regular visits to the project field sites to monitor activities,
  • Represent QRCS in relevant clusters and working groups to keep the organization up-to-date on the latest technical guidance and recommendations.
  • Any other duties as required and requested
Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Qualification and Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience implementing FSL projects,

Background in economics and/or business administration is required. 
Experience overseeing multiple activity streams and budget tracking
Technical Livelihoods expertise in transition/early recovery context, including agriculture, cash transfer programmers, small business development, and/or soft-skills training

Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated results with conflict-sensitive and adaptive livelihoods activities
Demonstrated experience managing teams based in different/multiple locations
Fluency in Arabic, Kurdish, and English.
