Job Summary
The Family Care Promoter is responsible for organizing and facilitating life skills classes for youth and adults as part of the Yazidi Empowerment Project (YEP). The goal of this program is to build character and strengthen personal development by equipping participants with practical skills to care for themselves, their families, and their community. In addition to classes, the Family Care Promoter will engage in community outreach and provide follow-up support as needed. Please note this is a part-time position.
Job Duties:
- Facilitate community outreach sessions to build relationships with the community.
- Organize and facilitate life skills classes according to the provided curricula.
- Invite participants to register for classes and keep record of attendance.
- Create a safe and hospitable environment for beneficiaries and communicate all materials and supplies needed to the Program Manager.
- Submit timely and accurate activity reports to the Program Manager and complete monitoring and evaluation tasks to assess program impact.
- Report all concerns regarding a participant or their family to the Program Manager in a timely manner.
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings.
- Uphold the SP Code of Conduct at all times.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

Education / Experience Needed
- 1-3 years' experience working with IDPs and/or humanitarian work
LANGUAGE
- Fluency in Kurdish is required.
- Proficiency in Arabic and/or English is strongly desired.
