Description
Context/Reporting line:
Under the overall supervision of the Senior Programme Coordinator (Peacebuilding and Stabilization), and the direct supervision of the Project Officer (CCCM), the incumbent will perform the following responsibilities.
Core Functions / Responsibilities
- Conduct field missions in intervention locations to assist the field teams and monitor the implementation of activities related to Non-Food Items (NFIs), restricted and unrestricted cash and voucher programmes. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement and enhancement of activities based on field missions.
- Maintain close communication with field teams to be able to provide technical and non-technical solutions to challenges faced by those teams. Respond to complex information requests and inquiries from field staff; set up and maintain files/records; organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions as needed.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics units to ensure timely delivery, storage, and dispatch of Kits.
- Monitor warehouse inventories and prepare distribution plans based on needs and availability.
- Provide specialized assistance with all administrative, financial, and reporting aspects of the implementation of projects, formal and informal site responses, including but not limited to assisting with procurement/financial and logistic procedures, CBI program, monitoring project implementation, and drafting written reports.
- Assist the PSD Project Officer, Project Assistant (IM), and the Information Management Unit in organizing and maintaining the project’s database management, field staff correspondence, and reports related to project activities.
- Serve as the unit focal point for CASH-based Interventions (CBI), submit payment requests with required justification and supporting documents to relevant IOM units, and follow up on the payment process in consultation with the Project Officer and field teams.

- Maintain attendance records of the field staff and send them to HR monthly.
- Any other activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Political/Social Sciences, International Relations, Public or Business Administration, Management, development studies from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience, or;
- Highschool diploma with seven years of relevant professional experience.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in working in an international environment and in liaising with a variety of partners at all levels of the hierarchy.
- Good knowledge of UN, IOM, and NGO mandates and programmes in the humanitarian response, IDPs, camps, and informal settlement response, post-conflict reconstruction and development, and previous work in UN or International Organizations is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to present clear and concise information.
- Proven experience in supervising and managing teams.
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds, ability to handle confidential matters, flexibility, tolerance, and capacity to work in a team.
- Good level of computer literacy, knowledge of the CBI and IMS programs will be considered as an advantage.
- A high sense of responsibility, dedication, and honesty are desirable attributes.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Languages:
- Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic is required.
