Description

Context/Reporting line:

 

Under the overall guidance of the Chief Migration Health Officer, the administrative supervision of the Head of Office (HoO) and the direct supervision of the National Programme Officer - Team Leader, the incumbent will perform the following duties

 

Core Functions / Responsibilities

 

  1. Responsible for conducting surveys or other data collection and compilation activities (e.g., over the phone, through door-to-door visits, group briefings, etc.) related to priority migration health projects.
  2. Responsible for data entry following survey activities.
  3. Under the direct supervision of the Senior Information Management Assistant, review collected data and perform routine data cleaning.
  4. In cooperation with the Senior Information Management Assistant, provide feedback and user experience on data collection tools and guidance documents.
  5. In cooperation with the Senior Information Management Assistant, provide activity reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and key follow-up actions as needed or requested.
  6. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Required Qualifications

 

Education:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience.

 

 

Experience and Skills:

 

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible, respectful, and compassionate team player.
  • Ability to gain and build trust with communities and local leaders, strong networking, and respectful negotiation skills.
  • Experience in health-related programs will be an asset; experience with international non-governmental organizations or UN agencies is advantageous.
  • Ability to comfortably conduct and interact with beneficiaries during door-to-door visits, group briefings, and lead sessions with a sufficient level of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to represent values and programs adequately with project beneficiaries, community members, and authorities.
  • Critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.

 

Languages:

  • Fluency in Arabic is required.
  • Any other language is in advantage.
