Description
Context/Reporting line:
Under the overall guidance of the Chief Migration Health Officer, the administrative supervision of the Head of Office (HoO) and the direct supervision of the National Programme Officer - Team Leader, the incumbent will perform the following duties
Core Functions / Responsibilities
- Responsible for conducting surveys or other data collection and compilation activities (e.g., over the phone, through door-to-door visits, group briefings, etc.) related to priority migration health projects.
- Responsible for data entry following survey activities.
- Under the direct supervision of the Senior Information Management Assistant, review collected data and perform routine data cleaning.
- In cooperation with the Senior Information Management Assistant, provide feedback and user experience on data collection tools and guidance documents.
- In cooperation with the Senior Information Management Assistant, provide activity reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and key follow-up actions as needed or requested.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible, respectful, and compassionate team player.
- Ability to gain and build trust with communities and local leaders, strong networking, and respectful negotiation skills.
- Experience in health-related programs will be an asset; experience with international non-governmental organizations or UN agencies is advantageous.
- Ability to comfortably conduct and interact with beneficiaries during door-to-door visits, group briefings, and lead sessions with a sufficient level of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to represent values and programs adequately with project beneficiaries, community members, and authorities.
- Critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Languages:
- Fluency in Arabic is required.
- Any other language is in advantage.
