We are hiring Field Facilitators to support the delivery of community-level activities for a UNDP-funded peacebuilding initiative. Facilitators will serve as a vital link between project management and local communities, ensuring effective coordination and reporting. This is a field-based role requiring strong local knowledge and community engagement experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and support the implementation of peacebuilding initiatives at the governorate level.

Engage with local stakeholders, including community leaders, local authorities, and civil society organizations.

Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and focus group discussions.

Monitor field activities and provide timely reports and feedback to the Program Manager.

Ensure community needs and perspectives are integrated into program planning and implementation.

Assist with logistical arrangements for field activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Peace and Conflict Studies, Development Studies, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with communities on development or peacebuilding projects.

Proven knowledge of the cultural, social, and conflict dynamics in the specific governorate of assignment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to write field reports and document key findings and challenges.

Fluency in Arabic (and Kurdish where applicable); English proficiency is an advantage.
