Key Responsibilities:

Training Design and Delivery: Develop training modules and deliver sessions on agricultural techniques, focusing on sustainable farming, crop management, pest control, and irrigation.

Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in farmers’ knowledge and adapt training to address specific challenges.

One-on-One Support: Provide individualized support to farmers, ensuring effective implementation of training on the ground.

Impact Monitoring: Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring measurable improvements in farming practices.

Promote Best Practices: Advocate for climate-smart and sustainable farming methods, helping farmers adopt environmentally friendly techniques.

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with local agricultural extension officers, community leaders, and NGOs to enhance training outcomes.

Reporting: Document and report on training sessions, results, and participant feedback to management and stakeholders.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- University educated.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning, management, and coordination.
- Proven experience in implementing projects.
- Experience working in the humanitarian / development sector, able to perform and deliver in a timely manner.
- Knowledge and experience in working with UN agencies, International Organizations are an asset.
- Knowledge of climate change, environmental sustainability, and experience working with advocacy and/or education projects are strong assets.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
