Job Summary
The Project Assistant will support the Project Officer in implementing project activities in Dhi Qar. Responsibilities include organizing community dialogues, workshops, and capacity-building sessions, maintaining accurate records, and acting as a liaison between the community and the project team. The role also involves providing logistical support for events and field visits, contributing to report preparation, and assisting in monitoring and evaluating the project's impact. The ideal candidate will have experience in project support, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of gender equality and climate resilience concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support the Project Officer in the day-to-day implementation of project activities.
-Assist in organizing community dialogues, workshops, and capacity-building sessions.
-Maintain accurate records of project activities, participant data, and event documentation.
-Act as a liaison between the community and project team to ensure smooth communication.
-Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings, events, and field visits.
-Contribute to the preparation of reports by compiling data and supporting the analysis process.
-Help monitor and evaluate the project's impact at the community level.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Required Qualifications and Skills:
-Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
-At least 1 year of experience in supporting project implementation, community
outreach, or field coordination.
-Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
-Understanding of gender equality and climate resilience concepts is an advantage.
-Fluency in [local language] and English is required.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
