Casual Worker – Community Mobilizer – Ninewa/Sinjar
Households intervention (Door to Door visit), Mobilise the Community on a routine basis for different activities like clean up and water conservation awareness campaigns, Carry out Hygiene Promotion activities in line with relevant standards, codes of conduct, and humanitarian principles, work on beneficiaries registration, do HH verification. Plan and arrange sessions/training/awareness campaigns for the beneficiaries for different sectors and activities. Attend required trainings on project modules. Follow up with beneficiaries participating in project activities to monitor and report their progress. Collect attendance sheet for sessions and prepare trackers for activity records. Conduct any other tasks required by the supervisor. Encourage the participation of community members throughout the programme, communication activities such as community meetings, drama, information campaigns, use of educational materials etc. Must comply with proper safety and security policies and procedures
Trained and experienced casuals, Some prior knowledge of health, hygiene, teaching, livelihoods and community development,
Strong communication skills, Good listening skills, Sensitivity to the needs and priorities of different sectors of the community. Arabic language is mandatory for Ninewa area.
