Aid Gate Organization (AGO) is an independent national NGO in Iraq, committed to supporting Internally Displaced Persons, returnees, and vulnerable communities across all Iraqi cities and governorates. With operations in key regions such as Kirkuk, Salah al-Din, Anbar, Nineveh, Diyala, and Basra, AGO focuses on rebuilding lives and promoting inclusivity for all, including minorities and persons with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive training materials, agendas, and session plans tailored to the project’s objectives.
- Deliver the training
- Facilitate interactive methods, including lectures, case studies, group work, role-playing, and practical exercises.
- Provide tools and guidance on:
- Community acceptance and reintegration approaches.
- Conflict-sensitive policy development and crisis coordination.
- Mediation techniques and peacebuilding practices.
- Early warning signs of radicalization and community dialogue.
- Countering extremist narratives through ethical storytelling.
- Support participants in drafting district-specific action plans for reintegration and peacebuilding.
- Conduct the pre and post test and make the improvements analysis
- Submit a final report summarizing the training process, participant feedback, challenges, and recommendations.
- Ensure all materials and activities promote inclusivity, respect diversity, and adhere to Do No Harm principles.
- Maintain neutrality, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the assignment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in delivering trainings on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, PVE, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of reintegration dynamics, community engagement, and conflict-sensitive approaches.
- Experience working with government officials, community leaders, and civil society actors.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Fluency in Arabic, and English and Kurdish are an added value
