Role of the Procurement and Logistics Officer: The Procurement and Logistics Officer is based in Erbil, with frequent travel to other areas of KRI. The Procurement and Logistics Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of Procurement and Logistic processes across multiple functional areas. These include procurement, stock management, facilities maintenance, security and contract management, fleet management, equipment maintenance and management, as well as service contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement processes, ensuring compliance with SEED and donor requirements.
- Manage stock, assets, fleet, facilities, and equipment to support operational needs.
- Maintain effective vendor relationships and conduct market research to ensure quality and value.
- Oversee documentation, reporting, and filing systems in line with SEED procedures.
- Support organizational security and facilities management.

- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related fields are strongly preferred.
- At least 3+ years’ experience from working in a similar position in a professional environment.
- Ensure compliance with SEED procedures and policies
- Ability to remain focused under pressure with a commitment to work hard and for long hours.
- Good character, cooperative and honest.
- Good team player; collaborative and able to work well with colleagues from different backgrounds
- Good knowledge in English, Kurdish, and Arabic.
- Geographical area knowledge.
