Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Field Officer will support the
Project Manager and technical specialists in the daily field operations and supervision
of project activities on the ground. Each Field Officer will be assigned to a specific
targeted area (Anah & Rawa, Tikrit, Kirkuk). They will work within a project focused
on community security and the social and economic reintegration of at-risk and
marginalized returnees and community members.
The project includes two main components:
1. Livelihoods and economic reintegration
2. Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support Services (MHPSS)
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating with local authorities in the area to ensure the smooth implementation
of the project and obtaining the required permits.
• Supporting the implementation of project activities (vocational training, business
support, awareness programs, social cohesion).
• Leading assessments and field data collection in coordination with the MEAL
Officer.
• Traveling daily to project sites to ensure activities are proceeding according to plan.
• Ensuring timely resolution of any issues identified during the implementation of
activities, and communicating them to project management and the MEAL team.
• Supporting the MEAL Officer in monitoring and reporting activities as required,
including guiding and supervising field enumerators.
• Supervising Field Assistants and building their capacity where necessary.
• In coordination with Field Assistants and MEAL staff, operating a duty rota to
verify participant attendance at implementation activities.
• Entering data into the DREAM system affiliated with the United Nations
Development Programme (UNDP).

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Must be from the targeted area.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in development studies, business
administration, economics, social sciences, gender studies, or any related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in supporting and supervising field
operations and implementing MHPSS and livelihood interventions in similar contexts

(please mention in your CV or cover letter: titles, objectives, descriptions, and
durations of at least two similar projects you were responsible for).
• Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Right to reside and work in Iraq.
• Willingness to start work on short notice.
