Description

Role Summary 

The General Practitioner should work in Snuni up to once a week. He or she is responsible for providing comprehensive primary care, diagnosing and treating common illnesses, managing chronic conditions, performing routine check-ups, and referring patients to specialists when necessary to ensure overall patient health and wellness.

 

Job Duties: 

  • Diagnoses and treats a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Conducts routine physical exams and preventative screenings.
  • Prescribes medications and recommends treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Manages patient health records and ensures accurate documentation.
  • Educates patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive healthcare practices.
  • Refers patients to specialists for advanced care when necessary.
  • Provides vaccinations, health check-ups, and routine care for long-term health management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
  • Treats patients with care, respect, and sensitivity, fostering trust and comfort.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • A Bachelor of Science and a Medical Doctor (MD) degree followed by a General Practitioner residency program is required. 
  • Three years of clinical years' experience required. 
  • Department of Health registration required. 

LANGUAGE 

  • Kurmanji (preferred) 
  • Arabic
  • English (High proficiency preferred)
