Background

Public Aid Organization –PAO; is a non-governmental, independent, non-profit and public utility organization. It works according to its humanitarian values in order to improve and settle the principles of human rights, establishing a developed civil society. This will be done by carrying out the developing and permanent programs and projects as it is guided by the United Nations’ declaration concerning the third millennium. PAO established in 1992 well rooted and present with offices in all Iraq.   

Coordinator-Basra

Responsibilities:

- Planning activities and events for the project according to the monthly and yearly plans of the project at the geographic region level in coordination with the project manager.

- Preparation and execution of activities and events for the project according to the monthly and yearly plans of the project at the geographic region level.

- Documenting the implemented events and activities at the geographic region level and sending them to the project manager within a period not exceeding two days after the activity ends.

- Sending the monthly media coverage form along with the beneficiaries form at the end of each month to the project manager.

- Coordinating and cooperating with the community center in the geographic region and monitoring their work.

- Coordinating and cooperating with volunteer teams in the geographic region and monitoring their work.

- Coordinating and cooperating with the support committee in the geographic region and monitoring their work.

- Estimating monthly financial needs and submitting purchase requests to the executive office according to the geographic region.

- Attending monthly project meetings.

- Monitoring the implementation of initiatives and grants provided within the project to volunteer teams.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Qualifications:

- Holding a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

- Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.

- Ability to write reports in both languages (Arabic - English).

- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
