  GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

الهدف العام لعامل حماية الطفل هو ضمان تنفيذ الأنشطة المتعلقة بحماية الطفل، تحت إشراف مسؤول حماية الطفل، في إطار المشروع وخاصة برنامج الأبوة والأمومة، وفعاليات الحماية المجتمعية، ورفع مستوى الوعي، وبرامج الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي والسياسي المنظم.

 سيشمل هذا المنصب رحلات إلى المناطق الريفية المحيطة بمكان العمل وهو مرتبط بمكتب منظمة مثلث الجيل الانساني الفرعي في السماوة. ومن المرجح أن يتم تنظيم رحلات إلى المثنى لجميع اجتماعات الموظفين.

The overall objective of the Child Protection Worker is to ensure, under the responsibility of the supervision Child Protection Officer, the implementation of activities related to child protection, within the frame of the project especially Parenting Program, community-based protection events, awareness raising, Psychosocial Support and Structured PSS programs.

This position will include trips to rural areas surrounding the work location and is attached to TGH Samawa sub-office. Trips to Muthana are likely to be organized for all staff meetings.

المهام:

 TASKS :

• المشاركة في تنفيذ برامج الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي وبرامج الدعم النفسي المنظمة والأنشطة الترفيهية القائمة على المشاركة النشطة وتحفيز الإبداع لدى الأطفال بما في ذلك الأهداف التعليمية والأساليب وخطة العمل، بالتعاون مع مسؤول حماية الطفل.
• المساهمة في إعداد الأنشطة الفردية والجماعية للأطفال وفقًا للموضوع (على سبيل المثال: الفنون والرياضة والقطاعات المتعددة...).
• حشد الأطفال والشباب للمشاركة في الأنشطة المقترحة المختلفة والأنشطة المحددة للمراهقين وتقييم الاحتياجات (من خلال مناقشات المجموعات البؤرية، ومقابلات المرشدين الرئيسيين، وما إلى ذلك).

• ضمان إنشاء رابط بين أنشطة التوعية وأنشطة الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي وإدارة الحالة.
• تنظيم أنشطة الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي للأطفال والمراهقين والآباء حسب الاقتضاء في سياق التدخل.
• ضمان أن جميع الأطفال ومقدمي الرعاية على دراية بأي آلية للمساءلة/الشكوى.
• توثيق جميع الملاحظات الضرورية وتقديم تقرير مراقبة منتظم إلى مسؤول حماية الطفل حول تقدم الأطفال وأهمية الأنشطة وتقديم أفكار واقتراحات إلى مسؤول حماية الطفل وقائد الفريق للأنشطة المستقبلية.
• ضمان تقديم أنشطة الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي من خلال طرق مختلفة (بما في ذلك ثابتة وعن بعد) تحددها وحدة الحماية في منظمة مثلث الجيل الانساني وفريق إدارة المشروع بما يتماشى مع توصيات وإرشادات مجموعة عمل حماية الطفل.
• تنفيذ أنشطة برنامج الأبوة والأمومة تحت إشراف مسؤول حماية الطفل.
• إنشاء وتعزيز هياكل الحماية المجتمعية بما في ذلك لجان حماية الطفل
• متابعة الاحتياجات من حيث الوعي والمبادرة في تحديد برنامج التوعية
• إجراء جلسات توعية بالتعاون مع العاملين في الحالة ومسؤول حماية الطفل، مع التركيز على حماية الطفل والتعليم والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي وقضايا الحماية العامة وأي موضوع آخر ذي صلة يتكيف مع سياق التدخل.
• المشاركة في إجراء تقييم حماية الطفل وجمع البيانات ونقلها إلى مسؤول حماية الطفل.
• جمع البيانات المتعلقة بالأنشطة ونقلها إلى مسؤول حماية الطفل.
• المشاركة في الاجتماعات الأسبوعية بشأن أنشطة المشروع
• تقديم تخطيط يومي/أسبوعي للأنشطة وتقرير أسبوعي إلى مسؤول حماية الطفل.
• إبلاغ مسؤول حماية الطفل بأي تطور أو تغيير في الظروف فيما يتعلق بالسياق والجهات الفاعلة.
• تقديم تقرير يومي إلى مسؤول حماية الطفل.
• تقديم الترجمة الشفهية والمكتوبة عند الحاجة.
• المساهمة في تقييم الاحتياجات لأي مشروع تعليمي/حماية طفل محتمل/مستقبلي.

يمكن تعديل قائمة المسؤوليات هذه وفقًا للاحتياجات في الميدان وحسب تقدير المدير المباشر.

• Participate in the implementation of psychosocial support programs, organized psychosocial support programs and recreational activities based on active participation and stimulating creativity in children, including educational objectives, methods and action plan, in collaboration with the Child Protection Officer.
• Contribute to the preparation of individual and group activities for children according to the theme (e.g. arts, sports, multi-sectors...).
• Mobilize children and young people to participate in the various proposed activities and specific activities for adolescents and assess needs (through focus group discussions, key informant interviews, etc.).
• Conduct organized psychosocial support sessions on a regular basis and evaluate each session with children in collaboration with the Child Protection Officer.
• Ensure the use of good facilitation skills that make children feel comfortable and promote their participation and personal development.
• Ensure that children participate in the organized programs in a non-discriminatory manner as well as using an age- and gender-sensitive and appropriate approach.
• Ensure that activities are implemented in healthy and safe conditions. Ensure equal, non-discriminatory and unbiased treatment of beneficiaries.
• Ensure that a link is established between awareness raising activities, psychosocial support activities and case management.
• Organize psychosocial support activities for children, adolescents and parents as appropriate in the context of the intervention.
• Ensure that all children and caregivers are aware of any accountability/complaint mechanism.
• Document all necessary observations, provide regular monitoring report to the Child Protection Officer on the progress of children and the relevance of activities, and provide ideas and suggestions to the Child Protection Officer and Team Leader for future activities.
• Ensure that psychosocial support activities are delivered through different modalities (including fixed and remote) determined by the Generation Protection Unit and the Project Management Team in line with the recommendations and guidelines of the Child Protection Working Group.
• Implement parenting program activities under the supervision of the Child Protection Officer.
• Establish and strengthen community protection structures including child protection committees.
• Follow up on needs in terms of awareness and initiative in defining the awareness program.
• Conduct awareness sessions in collaboration with caseworkers and the child protection officer, focusing on child protection, education, gender-based violence, general protection issues and any other relevant topic adapted to the context of the intervention.
• Participate in conducting child protection assessment, collect data and transmit it to the child protection officer.
• Collect data related to activities and transmit it to the child protection officer.
• Participate in weekly meetings on project activities.
• Provide daily/weekly planning of activities and weekly report to the child protection officer.
• Inform the child protection officer of any development or change in circumstances in relation to the context and actors.
• Provide daily report to the child protection officer.
• Provide oral and written translation as needed.
• Contribute to the needs assessment for any potential/future education/child protection project.

• خبرة في العمل في مجال الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي و/أو خبرة قوية  في الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي وإدارة الحالات، وشهادات ذات صلة.
• خبرة في العمل في أنشطة إدارة حالات الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي وحماية الطفل.
• تنفيذ برامج دعم الآباء، والبرامج النفسية الاجتماعية المهيكلة مثل برامج الأطفال والمراهقين، برنامج AGT، Win-Win DEAL، IDEAL، Little Fellow..
• خبرة في التعبئة المجتمعية وإجراء أنشطة التوعية.
• معرفة بحماية الطفل، والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي، والإسعافات الأولية النفسية الاجتماعية، وإدارة الحالات، والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي وغيرها.
• معرفة بالإجراءات التشغيلية القياسية لإدارة حالات حماية الطفل أو غيرها من المبادئ التوجيهية والأدوات الرسمية.
• قدرة جيدة على توفير المشاركة النشطة وتحفيز الإبداع لدى الأطفال.
• مهارات تواصل اجتماعية جيدة لإقامة علاقات مع مجتمعات مختلفة.
• مهارات في استخدام الحاسوب (MS Office).
• الطلاقة في الكتابة والتحدث باللغة العربية

• Proven PSS worker experience and/or proven strong experience in PSS and Case management, and relevant Diplomas.
• Proven experience of working on Psychosocial and child protection case management activities.
• Proven experience in implementation of parenting program, Structured PSS programs such Child and Adolescent Programs, AGT Program, Win-Win DEAL, IDEAL, Little Fellow.
• Experience in community mobilization and conducting outreach activities.
• Knowledge on Child Protection, Psycho Social Support (PSS), Psychosocial First Aid (PFA), Case Management (CM), Gender Based Violence (GBV) and others.
• Knowledge on Standard Operating Procedures for Child Protection Case Management (SOP) or other official guideline and tools.
• Good capacity to provide active participation and creativity stimulation of the children.
• Good communication and social skills to establish relationships with different communities.
• Computer skills (MS Office).
• Fluency in written and spoken in Arabic.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
• Very creative, active, positive and flexible.
• Strongly motivated by humanitarian work.
