Hope Makers Organization for Woman is a registered Non
Governmental Organization. Our main office located in Duhok and our
activities covering the Sinjar District with focus on Sinjar and Sinune
alongside other surrounding areas.
Since its inception, the Hope Makers organization for Women has
been dedicated to providing an avenue for women and girls impacted
by the genocide of ISIS, as well as victims of gender-based violence in
general, to heal from their trauma and build self-confidence.

Mission

The mission of HMOW is to create a
world where all Yezidi women and
girls, are safe, respected, and
valued. With a commitment to this
goal, the organisation will continue
to work to raise awareness and
knowledge about violence against
women, and create a future where
equality for women is a reality

Vision

HMOW’s vision is to create a safe
community for all women and girls,
regardless of their background or
identity, to combat gender-based
violence and discrimination against
women and girls by creating an
environment where they are
supported and respected. HMOW
strives to create an environment
where all women are empowered to
be their own advocates and agents
of change.
