UPP has also been active in the most recent conflicts in Iraq with emergency responses, offering shelter and a continual distribution of aid. UPP is dedicated to active peace-building, and recognizes that humanitarian aid always demands a long-term commitment, in this case, to the Iraqi population, the Kurds and the protections of their rights.}}
