Aim of the position:

The objective of this activity assignment is to provide high-quality, ethical, and culturally sensitive psychological support services to vulnerable women through structured group sessions and individualized case management for high-risk beneficiaries.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

The assignment is deliverable-based, and expected timeline for deliverables is 2 months. Payments linked to the completion of the following:

4.1 Deliverable 1: Group Sessions

• Develop structures session plans for group sessions
• Conduct 8 psychosocial sessions (each session lasting one hour and 30 minutes) for 2 groups of 8 participants
• Submit a short final report to the protection team after each session.

4.2 Deliverable 2: Individual Sessions

• Develop structures session plans for individual sessions
• Conduct 8 psychosocial individual sessions (each session lasting one hour and 30 minutes) for women.
• Submit a short final report to the protection team after each session.

Reporting to: Project Coordinator.

Language: Arabic and Kurdish Badini.

Duty Station: Sharya – Khanke (Duhok Governorate).

Essential requirements:

• Female psychologist (requirement based on beneficiary sensitivity and cultural context).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in psychosocial support, preferably in humanitarian or protection settings.
• Proven experience working with GBV survivors and highly vulnerable women.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed approaches.
• Experience with NGOs/INGOs or UN agencies.
• Knowledge of local context and cultural sensitivities.
• Experience in group facilitation.
• Strict adherence to confidentiality and informed consent.
• Respect for do no harm principles.
• Immediate referral of cases requiring specialized or clinical intervention beyond scope.
• Compliance with safeguarding and protection policies.
