Background:

Terre des hommes (TDH-Italy) is a leading child relief agency working on health and protection projects. In collaboration with UNHCR, TDH-Italy aims to provide humanitarian assistance, promote peaceful coexistence, and support economic and social development for refugees, asylum seekers, IDPs, returnees, and stateless persons. We are seeking 10 passionate and dedicated Youth Mobilizer Volunteer to join the programme and contribute to enhancing social cohesion and community participation.

Objectives:

· Promote inter-and intracommunal dialogue among diverse communities.

· Organize cultural, educational, and recreational activities to strengthen social cohesion.

· Share community concerns and protection-related topics in relevant fora.

· Facilitate the integration of displaced individuals into the social and economic life of the host community.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, implement, and monitor social cohesion projects for youth.

· Assist in organizing and implementing social cohesion activities.

· Engage in community dialogues on human rights, age, gender, and diversity.

· Coordinate events for international days, sports, language learning, and art competitions.

· Promote social and economic inclusion through exhibitions and informational sessions.

· Disseminate information using social media and face-to-face meetings.

· Report protection issues and individual/community needs to TDH-Italy.

· Conduct awareness sessions and trainings for youth.

· Mobilize youth from diverse backgrounds to participate in activities.

· Collaborate with TDH-Italy Youth Mobilization Team Leader and Program.

· Age: 16 to 25 years old.

· Status: Syrian or non-Syrian refugee, stateless person, IDP, or host community member.

· Active engagement in community support activities.

· No political function or membership in a political party.

· Commitment to volunteer at least 25 hours per month.

· Citizen from the same location.
