Responsibility:
Checking technical designs and drawings and BOQs to ensure that it suits the intervention.
Follow-up on the implementation activities to ensure conformity with the BOQs, designs, and schedule.
Preparing a daily report on the activities that have been implemented.
Coordinating with all partners involved in the intervention.
Reported to the program manager.
Coordinating with contractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
Preparing site reports and donor reports.
Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
Ensuring the contractor is committed to consulting recommendations.
Ensuring the contractor is committed (scope-schedule-budget), discover the deviations early.
Preparing the accrued installments for the contractor according to the achievements
More instructions from the program manager.
Reported to program manager.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction, or another related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in assessment, rehabilitation, and construction works, in a humanitarian context, NGOs or companies.
- Proficient computer skills, mainly MS suite (Word, Excel) ,p primavera
- Experience with data collection software (ex: Kobo collect).
- Fluency in English, and Arabic languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management skills and meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of field management.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled in record keeping and documentation.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines.
- Integrity and details focused.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
