Job Brief Information Purchasing Assistant: The Purchasing Assistant works within the Purchases Sub-Department and is responsible for the integrity of our purchasing & inventory system and companywide communications regarding changes to the system. The Purchasing Assistant works closely with the Purchasing Manager, Buyers, & Warehouse personnel. Purchasing Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Not to purchase any material without a purchase order. 2. Obtaining 3 quotations for the item to be purchased. 3. Create an excel file. The advance received, as well as the purchased materials, is recorded with the amount purchased on a daily basis 4. Checking the actual balance of the advance with the advance according to the excel file. 5. Organizing the priorities of purchasing materials according to importance and need. 6. Commitment to purchase materials according to the specifications required by the departments. 7. Matching the advance balance with the financial department on a regular basis. 8. Matching the balances of the suppliers in case of deferred purchase 9. Preparing a list of frequently purchased materials, determining the sources of purchase and the average price for each of the materials, in order to determine the price for the procurement officer and determine the supplier. 10. Preparing monthly reports showing the most purchased items as well as items that are frequently purchased (except for the usual items such as food and a section of supplies) and the total purchases of the month and comparing them with other months. 11. Preparing a plan to pay the suppliers and divide the advance. 12. Reviewing documents submitted by buyers to potential suppliers to ensure compliance with all requirements; 13. Develop relationships with suppliers to solve delivery and quality problems and obtain documentation 14. Assist the Purchasing Manager as needed

Purchasing Assistant Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics and Purchasing or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing production lines for more than 3 years.
- Teamwork skills.
- Multi-task and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Flexible working hours.
