Welthungerhilfe (hereafter: WHH) is a German private, non-profit- making, politically independent and non-denominational relief organization, which supports people living in deprivation and poverty, irrespective of the color of their skin, their religious beliefs, or their worldview. WHH is working in the fields of development cooperation and humanitarian aid, relief aid, rehabilitation, and reconstruction.

WHH implements the project- IRQ-1081“Improving food availability for communities vulnerable to food insecurity in Diyala Governorate, Iraq.”, in the framework of the wider Welthungerhilfe programme. The purpose of the project is to provide resilient employment opportunities for vulnerable Iraqis including youth and women through support to both farmers and agriculture SMEs provided to improve their skills, access to finance, and maintenance of their assets.

1. Description of Responsibilities of enumerators

The enumerators are expected to carry out the following tasks and generate the below deliverable in accordance with the relevant guidelines provided by the management of WHH and the close collaboration with WHH staff:

• Participate in one-day enumerator training.
• Conduct assessments, distribution, registrations, and data entry in the assigned districts of Diyala governorate: Baquba and Baladruz. The locations may be changed within Diyala Governorate based on the assessment needs.
• Conduct baseline assessment in Diyala remotely.
• Report daily issues and challenges to the project officers.
• Turn over all literature and materials used in the survey to the supervisor.
• Any other related assessments / distribution/ survey.
• Follow confidentiality and security procedures to ensure respondent privacy is protected.
• Report to the supervisor before and after day’s work for further direction.
• Enumerator may be asked to carry out other duties requested by the supervisor.

• High school Diploma or bachelor’s degree or relevant educational background.
• Previous experience with an NGO and/or institution in relevant field of work is an advantage.
• Fluency in Arabic, good in English.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Open minded, and ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
• Committed, honest, friendly, and eager to learn.
• Should be from Diyala districts.
