
Emma is a Kurdish word that means (WE) as it is our principle to work together as "One Team", which includes different backgrounds and beliefs. Emma organization was founded in 2013 by a group of women activists and experts in different fields and aspects such as gender equality, legislation education, health and mental health, Rehabilitation, Capacity Building and Development through providing services to the community particularly women and vulnerable groups.
We believe that change comes from within, promoting the participation of women in dialogues, it is committed to raising the profile of women by ensuring their voices are included and heard by decision – makers and that their priorities stimulate active response and reform.
We cooperate with governmental and non-governmental institutions and groups working in the same field for sustainability of the projects and programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
Emma organization has a duty of care in relation to employees and aims to prevent security risks. the trainer is needed for two days training workshop.
It is in this regard that the organization seeks to engage a trainer to conducting the training of staff to ensure the safety and security of staff and assets are in place.
Objectives:
Based on the Emma organization security plan, the main objectives of the training are as follows:
- Participants are familiar with Problem Solving – Process Vs Activity.
- Participants are able to understand their role in matters of Safety and Security.
- Participants understand personal security and role as individuals.
- Obtained knowledge on the set security plan and current security measures and make necessary improvements to enhance the overall security posture.
- Writing report on accidents
Scope of Work
The trainer is expected to undertake the following:
- Provide training and capacity building to the staff on security awareness, risk management, emergency response, and other relevant topics.
- Providing scenario on how the staff protect themselves physically during any conflict or accident that will be occurred during their daily work.
- Provision of specialist security advice such as – problem solving, psychosocial, basic medical training, communications etc.
Deliverables:
The security consultant shall deliver the following:
- Training material and capacity building sessions for the organization's staff on security awareness, risk management, emergency response, and other relevant topics.
- Recommendations and assistance in implementing necessary improvements to the organization's security measures.
- Final security training report, including findings, recommendations, and an action plan for the organization to implement.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Management, or related field to Safety and Security
- The trainer should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in security and personal safety in non-profit organizations con
- Fluent in Kurdish and English.
- There must be demonstrated understanding of the security context in the Kurdistan, including different contexts within the individual countries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Trainer should submit the certificate on TOT of Security and Safety.
