Background

Al-Tadhamon Iraqi League for Youth announce its desire to contract a specialized expert in financial sustainability to deliver an advanced (3)-day training workshop aimed at enhancing institutional efficiency, diversifying income sources, and developing financial systems.

 

Scope of Work and Responsibilities

Design: Develop a comprehensive training curriculum and training package (presentations, exercises, practical templates).

Implementation: Deliver a 3-day interactive training covering: (income diversification strategies, self-financing mechanisms, and review of financial policies).

Technical Component: Provide in-depth practical training on QuickBooks software (account management, reporting, and cash flow management).

Evaluation and Reporting: Conduct pre- and post-assessments for participants and submit a final report including a review of current systems and recommendations with an institutional improvement plan.

Assignment Duration: 3 training days (in addition to preparation and reporting days as agreed upon in the contract).

Ownership and Confidentiality: Al-Tadhamun Iraqi League for Youth is committed to disbursing payments upon delivery of the final approved version of the plan. All documents shall remain the property of the Al-Tadhamun Iraqi League for Youth, and the expert is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all institutional information.

 

 

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Required Qualifications:

Education: At minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. (Professional certifications are an added advantage).

Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in financial management and sustainability (preferably in the non-profit/civil society sector).

Technical Skill: Proven experience and high proficiency in working with QuickBooks software Mandatory.

Language: Full proficiency in Arabic (language of training), with good ability to use English terminology.

Fundraising and donor engagement

Proven experience delivering training for NGOs or development organizations

Excellent facilitation and communication skills

 

Preferred Experience

Experience working with NGOs or civil society organizations

Knowledge of institutional donors (EU, UN, USAID, etc.)

Experience delivering participatory and practical trainings
