Description
 
Key Responsibilities:
Field Implementation and Activity Coordination:
· Assist in the implementation of project activities in the designated field location in alignment with project objectives and work plans.
· Coordinate and support community-based activities, such as vocational training, skills development workshops, and job placement support for refugees, IDPs, returnees, and marginalized groups.
· Conduct outreach to beneficiaries, including conducting needs assessments and facilitating the selection of participants for skills development and livelihood activities.
· Support the monitoring of training sessions, ensuring quality delivery of services and providing real-time feedback to the Project Coordinator.
 
Community Engagement and Beneficiary Support:
· Act as the key liaison between the project and community members, ensuring strong relationships with local stakeholders, including community leaders, NGOs, and other project participants.
· Facilitate beneficiary registration and ensure they are adequately informed about the project's objectives and opportunities.
· Support the development of community networks that help promote and support economic integration activities.
· Provide ongoing guidance and support to beneficiaries, ensuring their needs are met and challenges addressed throughout the project cycle.
 
Monitoring, Reporting, and Data Collection:
· Collect data on project indicators, including beneficiary participation, training attendance, and outcomes, and support regular reporting on project progress.
· Document field-level activities, challenges, successes, and lessons learned, reporting findings to the Project Coordinator.
· Assist with the preparation of field reports, including success stories, beneficiary feedback, and issues arising during project implementation.
· Ensure that all data collection activities are conducted in line with ethical standards and project requirements.
 
Capacity Building and Training Support:
· Implement training sessions and workshops, including organizing venues, materials, and coordinating with participants and trainers.
· Assist in conducting pre- and post-training assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and identify areas for improvement.
· Help build the capacity of local partners and stakeholders by supporting the delivery of training and capacity-building sessions as per the project’s objectives.
 
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, International Development, Humanitarian Studies, or a related field.
· At least 2-3 years of experience in field-based roles, preferably in livelihoods, vocational training, or refugee and IDP integration programs.
· Strong understanding of the context and challenges facing refugees, IDPs, returnees, and marginalized groups in the KRI region.
· Experience in conducting field assessments, beneficiary selection processes, and supporting community-based activities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
· Ability to work within a team, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Fluency in Kurdish and English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
