International Medical Corps (IMC) is an international non-profit relief and development organization operating in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) and Southern Governorates. IMC provides critical healthcare services through Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) and primary healthcare facilities. This includes general curative consultations, management of communicable and non-communicable diseases, community health initiatives, and emergency referral services.

To ensure the consistent supply of high-quality pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, medical equipment and Laboratory Items. IMC is seeking to prequalify reliable and trustworthy wholesalers to support its operations.

• Eligibility Criteria for Prequalification

Interested wholesalers must submit evidence demonstrating compliance with the following requirements:

1. Business Registration: Valid business license/registration issued by the appropriate government authority for selling pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, medical equipment, and/or laboratory items.
2. Authorization: Proof of being an authorized dealer, licensed by a manufacturer or main wholesaler, to exclusively sell their products in the country.
3. Quality Assurance: Evidence of sound quality assurance procedures, including adherence to the WHO’s Model Quality Assurance System.
4. Good Storage Practices: Proof of compliance with Good Storage Practices.
5. Good Distribution Practices: Evidence of adherence to Good Distribution Practices.
6. Good Manufacturing Practices: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ability to provide Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for each pharmaceutical batch, as required.
7. Professional Licenses: Valid registration and licenses issued by the National Drug Regulatory Authority or the Ministry of Health (MOH).
8. ISO/CE Certification: Copies of ISO/CE or similar quality certifications (for medical consumables and equipment vendors).
9. Tax Registration: A valid tax registration certificate.
10. Bank Information: Bank account details registered under the company name (individual accounts will not be accepted).
11. Local Registration: Proof of local registration.
12. Power of Attorney: A copy of the power of attorney signature.
13. Chamber of Commerce Registration: Registration letter from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

• Evaluation and Next Steps

Upon receiving submissions, a dedicated committee will thoroughly review and evaluate the provided documents. Wholesalers meeting the eligibility criteria may be invited for further assessments, including physical inspections and in-person meetings.
