Background
Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) seeks a qualified trainer to design and deliver a Network Institutional Capacity Building Training for the project “Strengthening Women’s Rights Organizations and WPS Networks to Advance Equality in Iraq.” This Project is implemented as part of “Strengthening Participation, Peaceful Coexistence and Equality in Iraq (SPACE)” programme funded by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The project aims to create an enabling environment for women’s meaningful participation in decision-making through enhanced policies and advocacy that advance equality between men and women, and peacebuilding in Iraq, including Kurdistan Region.
As part of this project, WEO will conduct a three-day in-person training in Erbil for selected representatives of five Civil Society Networks. The training will focus on strengthening collaborative leadership and improving the effectiveness, inclusivity, and sustainability of inter-network coordination and advocacy efforts.
