Job Description
1. Participate in the continuous need's assessment component of the project such as collect
data,
facilitate group discussions and Key information interview in the targeted communities and
deliver written reports.
2. Implement and facilitate MHPSS activities, awareness sessions, Peer support group, MHPSS
case management (Individual counselling and referrals) based to the project requirements.
3. Coordinate and cooperate with HRF departments and any other related stakeholders and basic
services such as (health, education, legal, etc.) and assist with updating MHPSS service
mapping regularly.
4. Contribute to development of messages related to MHPSS awareness raising.
5. Develop individualized and case -centered support plans and provides detailed information
about the identified/registered beneficiaries to the MHPSS specialist.
6. Participate in the continuous monitoring and evaluation of the program.
7. Participate and facilitate in the capacity building activities for local stakeholders on
MHPSS topics, especially stress management and any other MHPSS needed topics
8. Ensuring that PSS approach carefully implement aligned to different sectors in program
9. Ensure that hardcopy and electronic information systems are maintained, particularly the case
management documents and any other related doc.
10. Any other duty as may be assigned by the field coordinator or MHPSS specialist.
Academic and required skills:
1- University degree in psychology or any other related field.
2- 3years experience working in psychology in a humanitarian setting is preferable.
3- Good oral and written communication skills in Arabic, English (And Kurdish language in Kirkuk)
4- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, KOBO)
5- Flexibility and willingness to change work practices and hours.
