Job Description
1- Aware of available Mental Health and Psycho Social Support (MHPSS) resources and MHPSS
channels in the area.
2- Synthesize training materials and develop Power Point presentations upon the request of the
MHPSS Project.
3- High communication skills, active listening to participants, ability to manage sessions,
discussions, encourage active participation and create active environment for participants.
4- Good facilitation skills and the ability to deal with people from different academic and
cognitive backgrounds and use different methods to deliver information (work groups,
pictures, videos, etc.)
5- Prepare the training materials, logistics supplies such as (Pre- post test, attendance sheet and
transportation fee sheets), venue and all training requirements in advance.
6- Identify the gaps and needs and propose adapted activities to support capacity development
7- Coordinate and cooperate with HRF staff and provide needed support.
8- Any other duty as may be assigned by the MHPSS specialist.
Academic and required skills:
1- University degree in psychology or any other related field.
2- High experience in providing MH capacity building and be aware of humanitarian setting
3- Good communication and negotiation skills in Arabic and Kurdish language in needed location.
4- Excellent written and observation skills and deliver accurate data and reporting
