
As part of ARD’s commitment to strengthening the capacity of media actors engaged in rehabilitation and reintegration efforts, the organization aims to go beyond formal training sessions and provide a sustainable, practical, and accessible set of tools to reinforce knowledge and skills in real-world settings. To that end, ARD seeks to engage a qualified Media Consultant to develop comprehensive materials and toolkits to support long-term capacity-building initiatives for media professionals.
Objective of the Assignment
The Media Consultant will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training materials, multimedia resources, and toolkits tailored to the needs of media actors. These resources will ensure that the principles and skills imparted during formal training sessions are continuously reinforced and applied in professional practice.
Fees : 196,500 IQD per Working Day ,

Scope of Work
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Media Consultant will:
- Develop Training Materials & Modules
- Design user-friendly training manuals focused on ethical reporting practices, rehabilitation, and reintegration programming.
- Produce detailed learning modules that align with project objectives and learning outcomes.
- Create Practical Toolkits
- Develop toolkits that include templates, reporting frameworks, checklists, and reference guides for use by media actors in their day-to-day work.
- Ensure that these toolkits are adaptable for various contexts and learning levels.
- Design Multimedia Learning Content
- Produce interactive and accessible resources such as instructional videos, podcasts, and e-learning modules.
- Ensure the multimedia content addresses various learning styles and enhances engagement.
- Integrate Case Studies
- Incorporate real-life case studies to deepen participants’ understanding and facilitate practical application of knowledge.
- Ensure Relevance and Quality
- Gather feedback from prior training sessions and consult with media and rehabilitation experts to refine and validate the content.
- Ensure materials are culturally sensitive, inclusive, and aligned with international best practices.
- Support Online Platform Integration
- Collaborate with the digital team to upload and organize materials on a dedicated online platform for easy access and ongoing learning.
- Ensure the platform is user-friendly and provides participants with continuous access to support tools and resources.
Deliverables
- Comprehensive training manuals and learning modules
- Complete toolkit package for media practitioners
- A set of multimedia resources (videos, podcasts, e-learning materials)
- Compilation of real-world case studies
- Final consolidated content uploaded to the online learning platform
- Summary report outlining methodology, feedback integration, and usage recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in media training, journalism, or communications
- Proven experience in curriculum development and digital content creation
- Familiarity with rehabilitation and reintegration programs is an asset
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English and Arabic
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
