Description

Main Purpose

Execute financial and legal tasks, according to Finance Manager or Country Finance Coordinator indications and INTERSOS procedures, in order to ensure legal compliance to local laws and to donor’s requirements.

Reporting to:

Hierarchical: Finance Manager

Tasks

  • Verify the supporting documents of each transaction before booking it into the accounting journal.
  • Manage the cash box by respecting INTERSOS’ procedures
  • Record the transactions in the field journal.
  • Archive all financial and accounting documents, and send hard copies to the coordination office.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor in order to prepare fund requests.
  • Verify all supporting documents before any audit exercise.
  • Support the coordination staff when the time of audit or reporting load in the department.
  • Timely reporting issue relate to the filed.
  • Any other technical tasks will be required support from finance manager or the country finance coordinator

Requirements

Education

  • Desirable finance, business or administration related diploma

Professional experience

·       Previous experience in relevant position

  • Desirable previous experience of 1 year with NGO’s in developing countries

Professional requirements

  • Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
