Description
- Responsible for appropriate storage of technical equipment, ie detectors, PPE, helmets, deminers tool kits etc.
- Distributes technical equipment and consumables to teams and records on the relevant stock control forms and reports (Bin Card, Stock Report, Goods Received Notes and Waybills).
- Allocates personal kit to teams and records on relevant stock control forms.
- Responsible for allocating and monitoring consumption of consumables ie paint, batteries, rope etc.
- Ensures records are kept up-to-date, recording the movement of supplies/equipment in and out of the stores.
- Managing the stock by using the MAG Stock management tool on Microsoft teams.
- Cleans equipment and carries out simple repairs when necessary.
- Keeps stores clean and tidy.
- Ensures regular stocks and supplies are maintained and do not fall below an optimum level; advises Sector store man/ Sector Manager in advance when supplies sourced from outside the sector are running low.
- Receives incoming supplies/equipment and produces Goods Received Notes (GRN).
- Keeps the Store man informed about the movement of equipment from his sector to other locations.
- Advises the Store man when assets are purchased in the sector, so that a central assets code can be issued and the item cab be entered into the Sector Asset/Inventory overview.
- Arranges transportation of items to Erbil HQ for repairs/maintenance.
- Ensures that the stores are secure and that no one has access without the Storekeeper being present.
- Informs the Store men of any problems with the stocks or stores.
- Submits daily Stores Report to the Store man, so that the Stock Report can be updated.
- Sector Storekeeper maintains a complete inventory of all the consumable and non-consumable items in their sector.
- Safeguarding Work in compliance with/uphold MAG's Safeguarding framework - Policy on Personal Conduct, Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, Dignity at Work Policy, Reporting Malpractice (Whistleblowing) Policy, Equal Opportunities Policy and Policy on Modern Slavery.
- Challenge any unacceptable behaviour and report any safeguarding concerns that happen to them and others during their work in MAG
- Work within the framework of MAG’s core values
- He/ She is expected to maintain a professional conduct in line with MAG’s core values since his/her actions represent MAG
- Act as an ambassador for MAG
- Contribute to other fundraising initiatives where appropriate.
- Participate in meetings where relevant.
- Understand and uphold the standards outlined in MAG’s Safeguarding Framework, acting with due care and attention to safeguard the wellbeing of anyone that comes into contact with MAG’s work and reporting concerns if they do a rise.
- Undertake and apply learning from appropriate training and development programs.
- Undertake any other duties as may be required.
