• Implementation of specialist workshops
• Consultancy regarding the introduction, rehabilitation or maintenance of technical equipment, regarding social issues or any other areas in the focus of this position.
• Helps ensure adherence to quality standards in relevant fields
• Management and maintenance of technical equipment, if applicable
• Instruction and training of national staff
• Monitoring of the inventory management of relief supplies (incoming/outgoing goods, regular stock checks, resupply) and their distribution to the target groups or project locations
• Documentation of relevant technical and procurement processes in accordance with the co-financing agreement or Welthungerhilfe directives (such as Assignment Allocation Regulation, AAR).
• Preparation of project progress reports
• Fulfillment of any other tasks which are assigned by the management and correspond in general with the character of this position
2.3 Specific Activities and duties of the position
Conduct multi-sectoral needs assessments, focus groups discussions, and key informant interviews for project decision making and reporting;
- Together with project staff, collect representative data for the baseline/ end-line reports.
- Assists the Senior Database Officer in managing and reporting the project activities on monthly basis to the clusters.
- Recruit community mobilizers in close collaboration with the Project Officer
- Process and analyze data (both qualitative and quantitative) collected by WHH staff and enumerators from needs assessments, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews with technical support from the MEAL department as required;
- Train community mobilizers specifically for the above-mentioned activities;
- Together with the Project Staff and MEAL department develop assessment plans with a clear research methodology, timeframe, locations and approach;
- Review and update the distribution lists for both CfW and UCT.
- Together with project staff, plan and participate in the distrobution of cash
- Conduct PDM surveys after each distribution, write the PDM report and share it with project staff.
