Main Objective:
Conducting adapted business trainings for the beneficiaries of the project (host community and IDPs) and accompany them in creating formal partnership with the relevant value chains of mushrooms and flowers and ornamental plants.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Organizing, conducting and managing business classes for 68 beneficiaries, adapting the content of the classes to the project objective.
- Coordinating and organizing monthly follow up with the groups of beneficiaries.
- Exploring the relevant market and liaise with possible customers in the agri value chains of the mushrooms and the flowers and ornamental plants.
- Liaise with the Vocational Training Center of the DoLSA (Duhok) for managing the spaces for the training.
- Managing the database for the relevant project activities.
- Provide assistance and coordinate with the project manager and the project assistant.
- Keep records of all information related to project for documentation, clarification and presentation to the Line Manager.
- Perform any other relevant duties as required.
STUDIES REQUIREMENTS
University degree in Business and management, background in Agriculture will be appreciated.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Five years of overall professional job experience and 3 years relevant to the functions or in related fields, with INGOs or IOs in conflict and crisis areas.
Previous experience in following agricultural development project or implementing entrepreneurship component in development project is desirable.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Languages: Working knowledge of English, proficiency in Arabic, and Kurdish proficiency is preferred.
- IT skills: Ability to effectively use standard office software, such as MS Office (Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point).
