About the job 

 

The purpose of the “Center Facilitator” position is to ensure excellent implementation, support, facilitation, and management all the protection services that are provided in Tuzkhurmatu and especially in AAF center there.

 

Reporting Structure

 

For day to day, operational management requirements the Center Facilitator reports directly to the GBV Officer, or any other designated person appointed/instructed by the PM.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Plan and schedule daily events as needed and overseeing center management activities in the AAF center.
  • Managing all staff members in the AAF center.
  • Providing feedback to the GBV Officer regarding the overall work plans and program implementations.
  • Conduct case management intake interviews with survivors / those at risk of GBV identified by the team during outreach work or referred by other agencies and open a case if vulnerability criteria are met.
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments for each case after receiving their consent and consider emotional, behavioral and social factors that affect their psychosocial well-being as well as protection and risk factors.
  • Develop a case plan with the survivor, based on needs identified during the assessment.
  • Ensure the proper and safe filing and archiving of case management files to maintain data confidentiality.
  • Plan, and implement psychosocial activities and session, distribution dignity kits, and CFP in the center.
  • Supervision of 10 interns (beneficiaries), develop their work plan, responsible on their building capacity, and follow up their progress and tracking absence.
  • Ensure that all of the service mapping and referral procedure (internally and externally) are done in high quality.
  • Assisting all procurements and logistical arrangements related to the AAF Center, in collaboration with AAF Logistic Officer.
  • Assisting HR, Finance, and security teams in all matters relevant to the AAF center, such tracking absence/attendance sheet & any safety-security issues and supervising and truck expenditure of center management budget component.
  • Support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plan in coordination with AAF M&E team.
  • Prepare, implement and report regularly on the status of project work plans and sent requested reports timely to the GBV Officer.
  • Completes any other tasks delegated by supervisor
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
  • University Degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, etc), and any knowledge in management is preferable. 
  • At least two years of experience working in related field with management responsibilities in a humanitarian/recovery context. 
  • Clear understanding of gender, abuse of power and issues surrounding violence against women.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, ethics and respect for the clients all the time.
  • The Candidate should be based in (Salah Al-din).
  • Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Good in spoken and written English, and Arabic is a must.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Act as a reliable and supportive team member.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
