Description

Context:

Under the general gaudiness of the Chief of Mission (CoM) and under overall supervision of the Senior Resources Management Officer (SRMO) and direct supervision of the procurement & logistics officer; and, in collaboration with relevant units in Erbil office, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for managing the resources management functions in Erbil Office.

Core Functions / Responsibilities:

  1. Collect, deliver and move items as requested.
  2. Collect and distribute mail and/or packages.
  3. Ensure sufficient stock of drinking water and initiating daily supply and delivery to office water coolers.
  4. Verify sufficient stock of printing papers and initiating daily supply and delivery to office printers and copier machines, including updating the stock card.
  5. Provide general assistance to the Operations Team in the case grouped arrivals of migrants through charter flights or bus.
  6. Provide general assistance to the operations team in the case of individual reintegration of migrants.
  7. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Education

  • University degree in related filed from accredited academic institution
  • Completed High School degree from accredited academic institution with 1 year relevant professional experience.

Experience & Skills

  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage

Languages

  • English, Kurdish and Arabic are required.
  • Any other language is an advantage.
