NRC secured funding from the German Government to support States in implementing the recommendations of the Words into Action (WiA) guide “Disaster Displacement: How to Reduce Risk, Address Impacts and Strengthen Resilience” (published by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR)). These terms of reference outline the responsibilities of a national consultant to support governorate-level and municipal-level authorities in Ninewa, Iraq, to develop guidelines to prevent and address displacement in the context of climate change and disasters and an action plan of priority activities to manage displacement in a municipality, as described below, based on the recommendations of the WiA disaster displacement guide.

NRC IRAQ is seeking a consultant (Company or Individual service providers) to develope guidline and action plan of disaster displacement in Ninewa governorate.
